My Story: From Surviving to Truly Living
I know what it feels like to wake up in a body that no longer feels like home.
To be exhausted, inflamed, anxious, overwhelmed—and told repeatedly that “everything looks normal.”
To be handed prescriptions instead of answers.
To feel dismissed when your symptoms don’t fit a convenient box.
For more than 20 years, that was my life.
In my late twenties, my health began to unravel. What started as gut issues quickly spiraled into hormonal chaos, anxiety, panic attacks, brain fog, chronic fatigue, and a level of emotional depletion I didn’t have words for. I was barely functioning—and the hardest part was not having the capacity to show up for my daughter the way I wanted to.
Diagnosis after diagnosis followed:
H. pylori, gastritis, colitis, IBS-C, gluten sensitivity, SIBO, Hashimoto’s, adrenal fatigue, chronic fatigue syndrome—and more.
The list grew long, but the answers never did.
I felt lost in my own body. And completely alone.
But somewhere inside, a quiet knowing persisted:
There had to be another way.
And there was.
